Now that we have been out of produce for a couple of weeks, we are cleaning and fixing up the storage and wash plant.

I had a late planting for the garden, but everything should have enough time to grow. Fortunately, I was able to get in and weed before the rain came the other day. The garden fabric from the Cass County Soil Conservation has worked excellently for the peppers, and over the next couple weeks I’ll be implementing other weed control practices so that I don’t have to spend as much time in there—even though I enjoy being in it! I can’t wait until the plants start to ripen in a few weeks. 😀

Stay tuned for more posts as the garden progresses—so you know what I am growing and where you can find it this summer/fall!

PS Please excuse the mess of machinery in the background as Hugh is getting everything that I didn’t purchase out of the shed for an auction in August.

PS2 I know, I’m really good at making straight lines..🤷‍♂️
